I went to the Objectified screening late last week with some Virgin folks and my new friends from Ghostly International [who consequently did the music in the film].

It’s a good 90 minutes, although the central theme of the film was a bit of a downer.  In essense, Hustwit documents that designers today are focused on creating the products compelling enough to seduce us to buy.  And then to relegate our old stuff to the landfill.  And the beat goes on.  Overall, this doesn’t bode well for us.  That said, it was cool to see guys like Jonathan Ive, Karim Rashid, etc talking about how they design and invent.  Definitely worth it if you can see it.
